Spanish gardening is obviously very different to the UK. The climate contributes to this with dry spells and high temperatures.

Many exotic plants can be grown with ease in Spain, but it is very important to make sure the plants don't dry out. As the majority of your time will be spent outside a well designed garden is a must, so you can relax in the garden and enjoy some of its beauties. Spain is rich in beautiful plants and trees, some recommended ones are Hibiscus, Eugenia, Camelia, Juniper, Lavender and Prunas. For trees, go for Cypress, Eucalyptus and select from the many Palm trees. A good idea is to go for trees in different shades of green to make a cool and classic look that is nice looking all the year round.
